Cedar Grove students raise funds for SPCA

Marika Donnelly, Sunshine Coast branch manager for the SPCA, accepts a cheque from an eager group of Grade 4 and 5 SPCA supporters from Cedar Grove Elementary. The students recently raised nearly $500 by sponsoring a series of book and bake sales to support the local SPCA. “It was a completely 100 per cent student initiative,” Cedar Grove principal Barry Krangle said.
