Pawsitively Pender Harbour, Saturday, March 7, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of EarthFair Store, will be a celebration of animals, with home-baked goodies for you and yours (cupcakes, pupcakes, cream puffs and more yummy treats). The No Flea Flee Market will offer new and gently used pet items. Reps from Elderdog and Thank Dog I Am Out will share great info on the fantastic work they do. Win prizes donated by Best Friends Pet Mart. This is the sixth annual fundraiser for wonderful organizations helping animals. Come join us!

March 10 the Women’s Connection is pleased to present well-known Sunshine Coast artist Gigi Hoeller. Gigi will discuss her techniques and inspiration from nature, the basis for her paintings of flowers, landscapes, wood carvings, totems and, recently, beautiful silk scarves. All are on display at her gallery, Gigi Hoeller Art Studio. Doors open at 9:45 a.m. at The School of Music. Drop-in fee of $3 includes refreshments.
Quiz Night at The Legion is back, Wednesday, March 10, 6 to 8 p.m. This event has been so popular you should get your team together, two to six people, and arrive early, $5 per person. It’s wing night, too!
