Pender Harbour & Egmont
Harbour

Getting better every year, the amazing thrift store in Madeira Park, The Bargain Barn, continues to move forward with a facelift for spring. During the week of March 3, PH Rotary Club volunteers Bill Charlton, Stuart Harrison and Len Lee removed the rotting, weathered sign and installed a beautiful new one made by local sign maker Tom Scodras.

In operation since 1977, the Bargain Barn and its team of committed volunteers continue to support health care in Pender Harbour, seniors programs and student bursaries. Store hours are Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thanks to all who donate good quality items and those who shop regularly. Let’s keep the tradition going!
