Halfmoon Bay Volunteer Fire Department is hosting Party in the Park, this Saturday, Sept. 1 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Coopers Green Park. This is a fundraiser for a community member with ALS, featuring a beer garden, salmon BBQ, burgers, outdoor games, music and a silent auction.
This will be fun for the whole family. Tickets are $15, available at Sechelt Fish Market, Welcome Woods Store, Halfmoon Bay General Store and Halfmoon Bay Firehall.

After a well-deserved summer break, the next meeting for the Halfmoon Bay branch of Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary will be Monday Sept. 10, at 9:45 a.m. at Coopers Green. The membership will be voting on the Health and Wellness Wish List. New members and guests are always welcome.
