Halfmoon Bay: Tickets for Bridge Luncheon available

Tickets are now available for the Halfmoon Bay Branch of the SC Healthcare Auxiliary’s fourth annual Fabulous Bridge Luncheon which is being held on May 7 at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens, 5941 Mason Road, West Sechelt from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.

Tickets are now available for the Halfmoon Bay Branch of the SC Healthcare Auxiliary’s fourth annual Fabulous Bridge Luncheon which is being held on May 7 at the Sunshine Coast Botanical Gardens, 5941 Mason Road, West Sechelt from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a scrumptious lunch, door prizes, silent auction and baking. There are a few tickets left at Pastimes, but Halfmoon Bay General Store and Welcome Woods Market have sold out to see multi-talented, two Juno awards and song writer of the year winner, Shari Ulrich who will be at Coopers Green Hall on May 22.

Spectators are welcome to see if pickleball is for you. No charge to watch. Monday and Wed-nesday pickleball sessions 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $4 per session to play (first time is free) at Halfmoon Bay Elementary School gym, 8086 Northwood Rd. 

Over the past few years the Herring Enhancement Project on the Sunshine Coast has been supported by SCREDO. This year Halfmoon Bay Community Association will participate along with Pender Ocean Discovery Station (PODS) the Lagoon Society, and four Rotary Clubs from Pender Harbour to Gibsons.
