SALT LAKE CITY - Authorities have deported a northern Utah woman to El Salvador where she is wanted in connection with her American husband's death in 2013.

Federal immigration agents said the 28-year-old Nuri Liseth Aquino-Torres Brown was deported to El Salvador on Wednesday and handed over to authorities in the Central American country.

She is accused of orchestrating the murder of her then estranged husband, the 53-year-old James Brown, who was from Michigan. A fugitive arrest warrant was issued in January by a court in Sonsonate, El Salvador.

She cannot be reached for comment and it is unclear if she has an attorney in El Salvador.

Officers arrested Aquino-Torres at her Ogden home in March. An immigration judge in July ordered that she be removed from the U.S.
