Thank you Coast Reporter for your ongoing coverage of the George issue, and thank you Coun. Johnson and Bouman for thinking about the future of our town.
I live in a small house on a small street in Gibsons. I rely on the town's parks and footpaths for my views of the sea, and on the town aquifer for healthful, clean water. I need my elected town officials to ensure that the town's park is not overshadowed, the aquifer compromised, and the village character of Gibsons obliterated by an over-height building that looks like Burnaby's Metrotown turned inside out.
