A weekend tennis tournament at the Suncoast Racquet Club in Sechelt saw three teams that had competed in league play over the past two months face off in a grand finale.

There was high excitement as team three went into the playoff tournament with 13 points, team one close behind with 12 points and team three trailing with six points.

After dozens of exciting sets, team three maintained their successful record and finished in first place followed by a hard-hitting team two. However, team one won for the best theme costumes as 'the Suncoast Olympians.' Marianna Johnson was awarded the ironman/woman player for participating in eight matches in one day! Champagne and Belgium chocolates were the goodies presented to the winners of another successful tournament.
