Halfmoon Bay’s Avery Struck didn’t look at all out of place in her first NCAA university golf competition last week.
She placed fifth out of 65 in individual play and helped her West Texas AM University team to a fourth place finish out of 12 teams. The tournament was held at Torrey Pines Golf and Country Club in San Diego.
Avery shot a 75 on day one and a 78 on day two.
