"It is a wonderful way to wrap up the skating season and our children enjoy having the opportunity to show what they have learned," said coach Lesleigh Farr.

Three professionalcoaches are with the local skating club including Farr, Daryl Austman and Brenda Harkin.

The coaches also wanted to give special mention to the numerous volunteers, board members, parents, students and the community, who have devoted countless hours of their time ensuring the club runs smoothly and the children are happy.

"A skating club cannot succeed without the support and time of volunteers," Farr said. "It takes a tremendous amount of energy running a non-profit, volunteerorganization like this and we are always in need of help. Many hands make light work and parental involvement is essential."

A special thank you to Coast Cable for broadcasting the event and kudos to all who helped make this evening such a big success.
