On Saturday, Aug. 16, the second annual Sunshine Coast Martial Arts Expo had martial artists join together for a full day of training, exploration and exchange.
With martial artists from as far away as Los Angeles, participants enjoyed lessons in Gracie JiuJitsu, Shito Ryu Karate, Aikido, Ryabko Systema and Kokodo Jujutsu.
Twenty-five students participated.
Thanks to instructors Shawn Phillips, Dallas Grieve, Russ Qureshi, Allen Wynne and Michael Seamark for their time and energy instructing classes. And thanks to the participants for helping raise $325 for St. Bart’s Food Bank.
