This winter parents and children aged four to 12 will again be taking to the hills at Dakota Ridge Winter Recreation Area for the Jackrabbits Cross-Country Ski Program.
For a period of seven weeks, kids will learn basic cross-country ski techniques while enjoying time outdoors with their families and developing an appreciation for outdoor recreation on the Coast.
Registration opens the first week of November, and individuals interested in coaching are urged to apply.
All coaches receive training and a free season ski pass.
