The Big Deals picked up two wins in the Sunshine Coast Men's Fastball League this week.

Newly-formed Big Deals lived up to their name with a pair of big deal wins last week in Sunshine Coast Men’s Fastball League action.

On Wednesday, July 2, Big Deals blasted Custom Carpet 19-3.

Christina Lewis had a strong pitching performance and was helped out by a solid team effort from the Big Deals.

On Friday, July 4, Big Deals picked up their most impressive win to date, beating Lon’s Gun Show 9-5.

Big Deals jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Kelly Hablin led the way offensively and defensively with a home run and a stellar catch in left field.  Lewis had another strong night, keeping the Gun Show bats at bay.

In other action, the Brewers stayed undefeated with a 10-3 win over Gilligans on July 6. Cory Bergnach had a two-run home run for the Brewers.

The Brewers had a solid team effort in a 12-5 win over the Jays on July 7.

The Gun Show rebounded on Monday with a 7-5 win over Custom Carpet.

Custom jumped out to an early lead, but the Gun Show rallied in the fourth to take the lead. Conner Cross led the rally with a three-run home run. Chris Hanchar made several strong plays at third to prevent Custom from regaining any momentum.
