The Sunshine Coast Skating Club had a large group of 17 skaters attend the Super Series VI Competition in Parksville this April 6 - 8 weekend. They all had wonderful performances and many achieved personal bests.
STAR 1 Girls - Isabella Watts, Brielle Avila and Justine Hoehne - Gold Assessments, Alana Bedlington, Keke Wang - Silver Assessments and Brooklyn Turner - Bronze Assessment.
STAR 2 Girls - Kate Tierney - Gold Assessment and Halle McHeffey - Silver Assessment
STAR 3 Girls - Isabella Jones, Teigan Turner and Megan Bloemhard - Gold Assessments, and Helena Vourtsis - Silver Assessment
STAR 3 Boys - Raven Shaw - Bronze Assessment
STAR 5 U13 Girls - Lucy Watson - Gold Medal, Alice Clements - 13th
STAR 5 Boys - Cooper Jones, Gold Medal and John Mailey - Silver Medal
This was the final competition for the 2017-18 season and skaters will be working toward a mid-level test day during the final week of ice time on the Coast.
