The Sunshine Coast Roller Girls (SCRG) will return to the Sechelt arena’s flat track on May 14 for their fifth full season of roller derby.

The season opener will be a home game against Vancouver Island’s Rinx Minx, which should prove to be an exciting match.

It will be a fun-filled family event with a great half-time show. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $10 ($5 for children).

The SCRG are once again sponsoring a community group at their events. Last year they raised over $500 for Arrowhead. This year they are sponsoring the Gibsons Youth Centre.
