The six teams competing in the Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League have entered 2018 with a focus on getting their teams ready for the playoffs.

All teams have been chasing the league-leading Custom Hawks, who look to wrap up the season at the top of the standings. On Jan. 11 the Gibsons Mark’s Cutters faced off against the Bruins in Gibsons in an exciting game that ended in favour of the Cutters 11-6. High scorer of the game was Dustin Robinson with four goals and two assists.

The Sunshine Coast Men’s Hockey League is still seeking officials. If you are looking to earn some money officiating or interested in playing, please contact Brenda Rowe at scmenshockey@gmail.com.
