Under the baton of Artistic Director Edette Gagné, the Orchestra presents a Concert of Firsts featuring, but not limited to, Mozart, Schubert, Kalinnikov. With one of the youngest members of the Calgary Philharmonic: guest violinist Adriana Lebedovich playing Mozart's "Violin Concerto No. 1". The first time the CSO has performed a Mozart Concerto! Also featuring Nina Haedrich, Alison Hunter and Douglas Hagerman.

On June 3, 2012, YMCA Camp Elphinstone will join YMCAs across Canada in hosting YMCA Healthy Kids Day. This FREE community event will focus on fun and engaging activities, practical information and simple ways to be healthier in spirit, mind and body. Activities will include sports, canoeing, ropes course, archery and much more, 10am to 2pm at YMCA Camp Elphinstone, 1760 YMCA Rd. in Langdale.
