Scorpions win round one

"I am extremely proud and humbled by the effort the boys put forward in the game," said coach Rod Kammerle. "There is nothing I could say negative about anything you guys did. It was the perfect team game. I am honoured tobe your coach."

The Scorpions meet their arch-rival South Burnaby Strikers this Saturday at home for round two.

The Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association held its year-end U18 girls House League tournament last weekend at Hackett Park in Sechelt. Highlighter Yellow won first place in the league and first in the tournament, while Orange beat Blue 5-4 in a shootout to finish in second place in the tournament.
