Resented tone of column

Editor: I really resented the column (Coast Reporter, Jan. 31) on bullies. I am the furthest thing from a bully (and I know Cathie you can attest to this).

I really resented the column (Coast Reporter, Jan. 31) on bullies.

I am the furthest thing from a bully (and I know Cathie you can attest to this).

I also have a thoughtful and intelligent opinion on why I won't support The George in its latest design. I believe a hotel could be built that is in keeping with the spirit that is Gibsons and doesn't endanger the best water in the world or the views of many in Lower Gibsons.

If anyone remembers the huge digging required to build the Watermark in Sechelt (half the height of the proposed George) how can anyone seriously believe that the aquifer for Gibsons will not be adversely affected?

I am really curious as to when expressing an opinion by choosing where I spend my monies makes me a bully?

I will not support businesses that choose to see the destruction of what makes Gibsons so unique and if I am to be called names for such an opinion than who really is the bully?

Perhaps the proponents of The George would be willing to pay people compensation when they lose huge property values when the massive walls of The George obstruct their views?
