Sunshine Coast RCMP are issuing a travel advisory for motorists as the snow continues to fall along the Sunshine Coast.

Cpl. Steve Chubey said snow is starting to come down more heavily north of Redroofs Road.

The roads are beginning to slick up and some branches are starting to break off due to the weight of the snow, said Chubey in an email Monday morning to Coast Reporter. We are asking for the public to drive with caution in this area and in general along Highway 101.
