Ian Jacques wrote one of his best articles March 14, 2014. It was about the apathy of the Sechelt voters during the $7.4 million referendum. Twenty-two per cent voter turnout was unacceptable.
Let me give you two good reasons to move the effort to vote.
First, many brave men and women have laid down their lives for us to have the right to vote. Out of respect for those brave people we owe them.
Secondly, our children’s future depends on us voting and how we vote. If the vast country of Scotland can get out and vote surely the Sunshine Coast can do the same thing.
