I thank Coast Reporter for their extensive election coverage and for encouraging us to vote. I am keeping your candidates’ pull-out section to remind me of what those elected said they were going to do.
I also thank all the candidates for their hard work campaigning and for having the bravery to face us voters. And a special thanks to those who have served us and were not re-elected.
And I would remind those who won that their most difficult task lies ahead: it is their job to represent all of us, those who voted for them and those who did not. We are all counting on you to listen to us with an open mind and heart.
