I would like to encourage people to take MP John Weston up on his offer to “meet with you … in your home, your neighbourhood, your club or favourite coffee shop, for a lively discussion of your interests and views.”
I have discovered through personal experience that nothing helps to promote tolerance, respect and understanding than meeting face to face with the people we criticize and stereotype. Each time I meet with John Weston, I come away with a renewed respect for his diligence, sincerity and integrity, which genuinely transcend political partisanship.
