Editor:
I would like to thank you for your proactive, professional and positive coverage of the election results. Your editorial (Coast Reporter, Nov. 21) was factual, yet at the same time, written in a positive manner to encourage citizens to move forward as a whole, not as a segmented community, as we have been for the last three years.
The letters to the editor that you published were also positive, something we need a lot more of to help our new government mend bridges. This only speaks volumes for the integrity of you as editor, your staff, the publisher and the newspaper as a whole.
It is time for us all to pull together and help the new mayor and council by being proactive and supportive in their efforts.
