One more tax squeeze

Editor: Since the recent change in the provincial tax, I am very disturbed to find that PST is now charged at the St. Mary's Thrift Shop in Sechelt. This shop sells articles that have already been taxed at their original purchase price.

The staff at the Thrift Shop all give their time without pay and the funds raised are used to buy equipment for St. Mary's Hospital that the government avoids paying for. Do you think this is a fair deal, or is this just one more way of squeezing every last penny out of citizens who are finding it hard to make ends meet?

It can affect my decisions on voting day.
