Negative campaigning in Sechelt

As a resident of Halfmoon Bay, I wonder what’s going on in our neighbouring community of Sechelt.

Most would agree one local resident may have pushed the civic election boundaries with unflattering signage and props which are questionable.

I can only assume this taxpayer isn’t happy with the current leaders in Sechelt and the new Sechelt Water Resource Centre. Or is it other issues? Maybe they have legitimate concerns but have chosen unusual methods to express their thoughts.

In my opinion the point has been made. Hopefully the concerned citizen will give consideration to curtailing this type of campaigning as the Nov. 15 election nears.

It’s too bad our federal and provincial politicians don’t set a better example.
