The members and staff of the Seniors Planning Table want to say a resounding “thank you” to the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre for their major contributions to the successful seniors housing forum on May 23. One contribution was the space itself, donated free of charge by the SSAC board – no small gift to a group (ours). Also, several directors went above and beyond with their help with operating the sound system and setting up the hall. Altogether, a strong vote of confidence in the important work being done by the seniors advocate, Isobel Mackenzie, and the volunteers who give their time to the Seniors Planning Table.
