Never a dull moment on the Sunshine Coast! The poor old Gibsons Aquifer makes the news yet again, with the SCRD now wanting to drill into it. What is wrong with everybody?
It is quite humorous that the Gibsons council, which hasn’t worried about a real threat to the aquifer in Gibsons over the past four years, is now staunchly defending it against anyone, anywhere drilling into it.
Last week’s Reporter editorial seems to be shooting off in all directions so that voters on the Coast can presumably only decide that there’s really nobody worth voting for in the next municipal elections. A microcosm of the macrocosm?
