The Coast Recital Society dedicated its first concert of the season to the memory of its founder, Allan Crane.
The program contained an insert describing the untiring work Allan did to foster the arts in our community. I had never put too much stock in the often-used expression that one person can make a difference. I now see that in a different light.
One person can make a huge difference. Allan proved that.
I am enormously grateful to him because my life is greatly enriched by what he accomplished here.
