The holiday season is upon us, and I see that many advertising trees are outside local businesses again. What I would like to see is that about a week before Dec. 25, they are donated to households that can’t afford but would enjoy a Christmas tree.
What a way to give back to our communities and care for others. The message would be kindness, not merely advertising. It’s a hard time of year for many, so let’s make it just a little bit easier.
