There have been some “kicks” lately with regard to the use of Kevins Road in West Sechelt. To clarify: this is a private road. It belongs to the Tyler Heights Strata Corporation. The 56 homes on Kevins Road, Andres Road, Peters Crescent and part of Apollo Road collectively pay strata fees to maintain the road, the water and sewer lines below the road and the streetlights throughout the development. None of this is maintained by the city. There are signs at the entrances noting that the road is open to strata residents and guests only. There are many of these developments in West Sechelt and all have similar signs at the entrances indicating private use.
