Not exempt from the rules

I was totally amazed at the level of indignation expressed by the anti-development cult in the paper last week.

They are incensed at the tone of the column by John Gleeson (Coast Reporter, March 7).

As suspected they see nothing unacceptable in their behaviour when they bully, intimidate and make unfounded comments about individuals, etc., but when someone expresses a comment on their behaviour they become incredibly offended by the comments directed to them. Obviously they believe that the rules they insist that other people play by do not apply to them.

Give me a break. You are not exempt from the rules. Maybe if you tried abiding by them you might come across a little more credible.

John Gleeson was not attacking your right to an opinion, but pointing out that your tactics in many cases are less than acceptable.
