John Weston has received the nomination to run again as area member of Parliament for the Conservatives in the 2015 federal election.

After having served for more than five years as the member of Parliament for West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast – Sea to Sky Country, John Weston was nominated once again to represent the Conservative Party in the riding in 2015.

The nomination process was public and open but not contested.

“With John Weston back in Ottawa representing our riding, we will continue to have a clear voice in Ottawa and John will make sure our interests are well represented," said AJ Jacobs-Hajian, president of the West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast Conservative Association.

Weston said it is an honour to serve the riding again.

“The key to effective governance is an engaged group of citizens,” said Weston. “Time and again, the accomplishments we see in our riding reflect collaboration among innovative, hardworking people, supported by the government. I look forward to continuing to serve the wonderful people in ‘the Most Beautiful Place on Earth.’”
