VCH seeks survey input

Health

Vancouver Coastal Health and the Heart & Stroke Foundation are seeking input from stroke patients and their families/caregivers about their experience during and after a stroke event to inform service design and delivery.

As part of a regional stroke redesign process at VCH, they are interested in hearing from patients and families about their experience, what people think really made a difference — and what still needs improvement. VCH is particularly interested in hearing from people living outside urban centres to help them identify the positive aspects of their experience and what could be improved so that VCH can provide the best care for stroke recovery for communities living in more rural and remote areas.

There are a couple ways to share your voice — either attend an upcoming focus group or share your feedback through a quick five- to 10-minute minute online survey at: http://
fluidsurveys.com/surveys/ce/stroke-care-redesign/.

All responses to this survey are anonymous.

The first focus group takes place this Monday, Aug. 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital.

To register, call 604-714-3779 or email ce@vch.ca.
