Sunshine Coast RCMP is seeking assistance from the public following an incident of vandalism to the Municipal Town Hall in Gibsons on May 2.

Sunshine Coast RCMP is seeking assistance from the public following an incident of vandalism to the Municipal Town Hall in Gibsons.

On May 2 at approximately 5:15 a.m., RCMP were dispatched to a report of a mischief at the Gibsons Town Hall, located on South Fletcher Road.

“Cleaners had arrived to the hall that morning to find three large front windows had been smashed by rocks by vandals,” said Cpl. Steve Chubey in a media release. “The mischief had occurred sometime overnight. The investigation is on-going.”

RCMP are requesting anyone with information about this act of mischief to contact Const. MacPherson at 604-885-226 or BC Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
