Local artist Dean Schutz created a new mural in Davis Bay.

A new mural in Davis Bay is catching everyone’s eye.

The bright mural depicting rays of sunshine, killer whales and eagles wraps around the public washroom building at the end of the Davis Bay seawall.

The mural was created by local artist Dean Schutz who’s responsible for many lovely murals around the District.

His newest addition in Davis Bay has become very popular with locals who have been lobbying the District to extend the mural to include the other two walls.

To complement the mural and further beautify the area, the District of Sechelt also planted some new flowers and worked on the landscaping near the washrooms.

In addition to the beautification outside the public washroom facility, the inside has also been upgraded to include stainless steel fixtures and bathroom partitions as well as concrete countertops.
