Sechelt’s Kennan Flemming posted a terrific fourth place finish at the latest tour stop on the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour.

Kennan was named the divisional winner of the long drive competition for juvenile boys and posted two rounds of 74 for a 148 total score and a fourth place finish in the juvenile boys category.

The event was a two-day Prodigy Series Junior Worlds Qualifier at Pagoda Ridge Golf Club in Langley, May 17 and 18 where 100 young players on Canada’s number-one played junior golf tour competed for division titles and the chance to be short-listed for the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego, Calif., this July.
