Richmond RCMP is seeking the public’s help with information on the whereabouts of 57-year-old Brent Oldfield.
Oldfield arrived from Australia on Oct. 2 and was last seen at Vancouver International Airport at approximately 8 p.m. on Oct. 2.
He was wearing a black toque, black shirt, and had a black fanny pack.
Police believe it is out of character for him to be out of touch with his family and are now seeking the public’s help to locate him.
RCMP say he may have travelled to Sechelt or may be staying in a hotel somewhere in the Lower Mainland.
“We just want to make sure he is OK, to reassure his family in Australia they don’t need to worry about him,” said Cpl. Stephanie Ashton with the Richmond RCMP.
