BC Ferries announces more schedule changes

Ferries

BC Ferries announced August 4 that it’s adding more weekday sailings to the Horseshoe Bay – Langdale route for the rest of August.

The announcement came just a week after the ferry company said it would add an extra round trip aimed at commuters to run from September 5 until October 6 (see story here).

Ferries said it’s adding the August sailings because, “midday traffic is on the rise and with many people travelling outside the busy Fridays and Sundays, BC Ferries wants to make the customer experience as smooth as possible.”

The extra sailings will be:

• Mondays and Thursdays (August 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28, 31):  A 10:05 a.m. departure from Langdale and 11:10 a.m. departure from Horseshoe Bay

• Tuesday August 8 only: A 12:30 p.m. departure from Langdale and a 1:35 p.m. departure from Horseshoe Bay.

• Wednesdays (August 9, 16, 23, 30): A 12:30 p.m. departure from Langdale and a 1:35 p.m. departure from Horseshoe Bay.
