Modified ferry schedule for Saturday

BC Ferries will have a modified sailing schedule in effect for this Saturday, March 1 due to a one-day closure for maintenance on berth one in Langdale.

According to BC Ferries, berth one requires expedited maintenance to replace the berth's turning dolphin pad. The work is expected to take one day and is tide dependent. Because of the work on berth one, berth two will be utilized, which means a slightly modified schedule to allow for single-ramp loading and off loading.

Sailings will leave Langdale at 6:20, 8:40 and 11:25 a.m. and 2:30, 4:50, 7:05 and 9:15 p.m. Sailings will leave Horseshoe Bay at 7:30 and 9:55 a.m. and 12:45, 3:40, 6, 8:10 and 10:15 p.m.

Customers who have already booked reservations for Saturday will be contacted with affected changes. Full schedule updates are available on-line at www.bcferries.com or by calling 1-888-BCFERRY (223-3779).
