Kudos to a great column

Big kudos and much appreciation to the Coast Reporter and especially Hugh Macaulay, vice president, Arrowhead Clubhouse, who pens the regular Your Mental Health column in the Health and Fitness section of the Coast Reporter.

The column is an informative, authentic, accurate and compassionate look at the many aspects of mental health and mental illness and I suspect makes a difference in many people's lives here on the Coast.

This is no small thing because mental illness is still so very stigmatized and such stigmatization impacts very negatively in the lives of community members.

A regular voice such as this is an important part of the movement towards a better-informed public awareness of mental health and mental illness and that in the end is benefit to every single person here.

Congratulations - I look forward to learning more.
