In an initiative to spotlight and celebrate the unsung heroes of our coastal community, Gibsons Pet Food and Supplies is introducing the Coastal Kindness Community Champion Award.
This award aims to recognize individuals whose acts of kindness, large or small, have made a significant impact on the lives of fellow community members.
The award holds even more weight with local businesses coming on board to support this cause. The winner of the Coastal Kindness Community Champion Award will receive a total of $1,000, broken down into ten $100 gift cards.
This generous gesture has been made possible through the contributions of: IGA Gibsons, Gibsons Pet Food, Stitch & Bobbin, Dreamland, Dorado Beauty Bar, Chemistry, Castle Rock Kennels, Semir’s Hot Dog Cart, Black Bean Café and Curry in the Creek.
Recognizing the importance of celebrating local kindness, these businesses have shown their commitment to the community, further amplifying the spirit of the award.
Nominations are now open, and in response to public demand, the deadline has been extended to Sept. 3.
This provides an extended opportunity for community members to spotlight those deserving individuals who often work in the shadows.
The main event date, where the Coastal Kindness Community Champion will be named, will be announced soon. All are welcome to attend, witness, and celebrate the community spirit.
