I have been a fulltime resident of the Sunshine Coast all of my life and yes, it is about time something happened in Gibsons.
The lower village needs something positive to happen in that area. This is the start of something positive for the lower village and the Town of Gibsons. This will not only generate some badly needed tax revenue for the town, but create employment as well, and it will be huge drawing card for the lower village.
Quoting Mayor Rowe, he is absolutely right, we need to collect some revenue for infrastructure, crumbling roads, which are especially bad in the lower village.
So hats off to the mayor and council. It's time. Let's take a step forward.
