Orange had a very strong passing game and all players worked very well together. Axis Clarke made some great turnarounds. Evan Hagedorndid an amazing joband was rewarded with a goal. Jacob Simkins did some very fancy footwork, some great headers and was a standout forhisteam.

Team Green was extremely strong on defence. Carson Scott of Green proved to be very formidable and kept many goals away from the goal.

Alex Cartlidge played double duty and was goalie in the first half for Green and scored a goal in the second half. It was a very tight game and both teams showed great sportsmanship in the 3-1 win for Orange.

It was a spirited match between Navy and Red last weekend.

A scoreless first half saw a couple of close calls from both sides.

Nicolas Browton opened the scoring at the 70-minute mark with a strike over the goalie's head from just outside the box.

Matthew Browton then scored with 10 minutes left to play, breaking away thanks to an excellent ball from William Stevenson.

Final score was 3-0 for Navy after a shot from Ben Ashcroft took an awkward bounce off a defender in the 87th minute.

U10 boys

Team Teal squared off with Team Blue at Waterfront Park last Saturday, in what was their best game yet this season, and followed a very lopsided loss to the sameBlueteam last week.

This week, Tealpassed well and vastly improved its ball possession and player positioning, thanks to tips from coach David Douglas. These improvements led to a much more balanced and fun game with both teams making well-coordinated drives up and down the field.

Three different Teal players scored and others madesolid shots on goal. The final score was 7-5 for Blue, but it felt like a win for both teams. Many thanks to the boys and coaches on both teams for such a fun and well-played game.
