Run, walk or dance-walk at the inaugural Holiday Hustle 5k on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Sechelt Aquatic Centre.

This musical and Christmas-themed event is a fundraiser for the Chatelech Secondary School band Hawaii Tour 2013, as well as a collection point for donations to the Elves Club Christmas hampers. There'll be live music, Christmas goodies, lots of prizes and fun for the entire family! Choose from 5k or 2k routes through the village of Sechelt at the event that starts at 9:30 a.m.

This is your chance to join the dance-walk craze and show off your moves. If you haven't heard of dance-walking, check out the video posted on the event website: www.sunshinecoastathletics.org/hh5k/.

On-line registration is available now. Save dollars by registering by Friday, Dec. 7. You can also donate on-line when registering, to the Elves Club or the Chat band Hawaii fund.

For full details please visit the event website or call 604-885-8849.
