Free scuba demo this weekend

Tonight (Friday, Feb. 7) and tomorrow, Saturday, Feb.

Tonight (Friday, Feb. 7) and tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 8, students from Capilano University's professional scuba dive instructor program are providing members of the community an opportunity to experience the magic of breathing and swimming under-water.

Join in on the fun at the Sechelt Aquatic Centre for a scuba dive demo.

Every year, students of the program organize this free event as an opportunity to practice the skills they have learned and share their enthusiasm for diving.

The two-day event will be held from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday night and 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As this event is a free, it will be a first-come, first-served basis, so participants are asked to reserve a 30-minute time slot by emailing scubademoday@gmail.com.

Scuba equipment will be provided. All you need to bring is a towel and swimming attire.
