The Con Man (aka Craig McKee) will swindle, bamboozle and scam you in the most delightful way at the Raven’s Cry Theatre in Sechelt this Sunday, Feb. 15, in a fundraising show for the Sunshine Coast Lions Club.
McKee’s interactive performance is a hilarious thrill ride of delicious swindles, classic cons, pickpocket scams, card tricks and artful sleight-of-hand magic and illusion. Best of all, the Con Man will show you the inside tricks of the con-man trade so you won’t be hoodwinked by an unscrupulous grifter.
The Con Man knew that you need a silver tongue and an honest face to strip someone of their money, valuables and maybe even their identity, so he added drama and speech training to his magic and illusion toolbox.
McKee is from Vancouver Island and has been entertaining audiences professionally since he was 15.
Tickets, $15 for general admission and $10 for those under 14, are available at Raven’s Cry Theatre and Sears in Sechelt, and Gaia’s Fair Trade in Gibsons. Those attending from Pender Harbour and Egmont can call Raven’s Cry at 604-885-4597 to have tickets reserved.
