The Pender Harbour Music Society is proud to present Terence Tam and Lorraine Min in what promises to be a wonderful afternoon of music next Sunday, April 13.

Min has impressed audiences worldwide with her artistic brilliance and virtuosity. As a soloist and chamber musician, she can be heard on CBC and ABC (Australian) radio.

Consistently praised for his intense musicality and impressive technique, Canadian violinist Tam's playing has been called "an astonishing mixture of precision and ease" (ConcertoNet.com, France).

Tam made his New York début at Carnegie Recital Hall in 1994 and his Paris concerto début in 2000 playing the Ligeti violin concerto with the Academy of 20th Century Music Orchestra. His CD recording of Dutch composer Wim Zwaag's violin concerto was chosen as one of CBC In Concert's best classical recordings of 2011. Tam is currently concert master of the Victoria Symphony.

Tickets for the 2 p.m. concert are $25, available at Harbour Insurance in Madeira Park, John Henry's Marina in Garden Bay, the Sechelt Visitor Info Centre and Gaia's Fair Trade in Gibsons Landing.

Also, please note the concert for Clover Point Drifters has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. Tickets from the earlier cancelled concert will be honoured at the door.
