Delhi 2 Dublin, with their highly charged energy, returns to the Creek.

The Sunshine Coast Jazz and Entertainment Society is excitedto announce Delhi 2 Dublin is coming to the Roberts Creek Hall on Saturday, Feb. 2, to play the annual Gibsons Landing Jazz Festival fundraiser dance. Hometown fiddle player Sara Fitzpatrick will be upfront and centre playing on stage.

Oh Snap wrote, "Delhi 2 Dublin is the new sound of music. Blending east and west, electronic and acoustic, mainstream and underground, the five-member D2D crew takes listeners on a wild and borderless trip with their global sounds. The band fuses the traditional sounds of tabla, dhol, fiddle and sitar with cutting edge DJ aesthetics, to create a highly-charged, multi-cultural dance celebration."

Joining the party will be our very own world beat DJ YumYum to create a non-stop night of dancing.

Tickets are $25, available from Strait Music in Sechelt, Woods Showcase at Sunnycrest Mall in Gibsons and MELOmania in Roberts Creek. Doors open at 9 p.m. After all, where else are you going to see a kick-ass fiddle player rocking out with a kilt-wearing Korean flanked by two bouncing Bhangra percussionists and a vocalist who looks like he would be at home in a Bollywood music video?
