For the second year in a row, students from the Elphinstone Secondary School Leadership Class assisted Gibsons Legion members by cleaning up the cemetery in preparation for Remembrance Day by clearing, sweeping and raking the veteran grave sites.
The upkeep of the cemetery was excellent this year with veteran Larry Boyd on hand to assist. The group gathered were keen to be there and have vowed to make sure to be back next year to do the same.
